Dr Thomas Locker is a clinician with many years of experience working as an NHS Consultant
Thomas has considerable experience working with IT systems and data, both in a clinical and research environment. He has overseen the implementation of a number of different IT systems, working closely with suppliers and implementation teams. In addition, he has represented the Royal College of Emergency Medicine on the Summary Care Record Expert Advisory Committee, the Payment-by-Result HRG subcommittee and the Emergency Care Data Set Technical Committee.
Thomas’s research focused on the organisational aspects affecting length of stay in Emergency Departments and he completed is MD at the School of Health and Related Research, University of Sheffield. His list of publications can be found here:
Lisa Locker is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and senior manager
Lisa has held senior roles in the NHS and private sector, leading the nursing implementation of an IT system in large, tertiary hospital and held a number of different governance roles. Currently, she works as a Chief Nurse in the private sector. She currently sits on the NMC early adopters for advanced practice regulation working group.
Lisa was made a Queen’s Nurse in 2025.
